Terms of Service

The service
Followpoint is a WhatsApp lead-capture, booking, and light catalog/ordering automation service for small businesses, built and operated by Webrandova, based in Lagos, Nigeria. We connect your WhatsApp Business number (using Meta's official Cloud API, either through our manual connect process or Meta's Embedded Signup), capture and tag customer messages as leads, and send automated replies, booking confirmations, and catalog responses on your behalf according to the settings you configure.
Your responsibilities
You own your WhatsApp Business Account and the relationship with your customers — we act as your technical intermediary, not the other way round. You're responsible for:
- Following WhatsApp's own Business Messaging Policy — including the 24-hour customer service window (free-text replies only within 24 hours of a customer's last message; outside that window, only pre-approved message templates can send) and Meta's rules on what a message template can and can't contain. Followpoint enforces the 24-hour window in code, but the underlying policy is Meta's, not ours, and Meta can suspend a number that violates it regardless of what we do.
- Accurate business info — the business name, contact details, and auto-reply content you give us should be accurate and yours to use.
- Your customers' consent — you're responsible for having a legitimate basis to message the customers who reach you on WhatsApp, the same as you would be without Followpoint.
Acceptable use
You may not use Followpoint to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or for any content category WhatsApp's own Commerce and Business Messaging policies prohibit (this includes things like illegal products/services, deceptive claims, adult content, and content promoting violence or hate — WhatsApp's policy is the authoritative list, not ours). We reserve the right to pause or cancel a service that we reasonably believe violates this or puts our WhatsApp Tech Provider standing at risk — Meta can suspend our entire platform access over one bad actor, so we take this seriously.
Payment
Plans are billed as a one-time setup fee followed by recurring monthly billing, processed by Paystack — we never see or store your card details ourselves. Your card is charged automatically each month via Paystack's own recurring-billing product until you cancel. If a monthly charge fails, we'll let you know and give you a chance to update your payment method before treating the service as past due. Refunds are requested from the specific payment's receipt in your dashboard and reviewed case by case — see your Payment History page.
Pausing and cancelling
You can pause or cancel your own service at any time from your dashboard, or ask us to do it for you. Pausing stops automated replies without losing your settings or lead history — resuming picks up where you left off. Cancelling ends the service; if you want to come back later, reconnecting your WhatsApp number goes through the same connect process as a new signup. We may also pause or cancel a service on our side — for a policy violation (see "Acceptable use"), a failed payment that stays unresolved, or a genuine abuse/security concern — and we'll always tell you why.
No guarantee, limited liability
Followpoint depends on third-party platforms we don't control — Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, Paystack, Convex, Vercel — and things can go wrong on their end (an outage, a policy change, a number getting flagged) independent of anything we do. We'll do our best to keep the service running and tell you when something's wrong, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for losses caused by a third-party platform's own outage, policy enforcement, or account suspension. To the extent Nigerian law allows, our liability to you is limited to the fees you've actually paid us in the 3 months before the issue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes — we'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use Followpoint after a change means you accept the updated terms.
